Resumo

A photon correlation experiment with two-photon broadband radiation, emitted by a metastable atom or a nonlinear crystal, is considered. The probability P(t 1, t 2) of the registration of two photons at moments t 1,t 2 at one trial is calculated taking account of the influence of the bandpass optical filters' placed before the detectors. The dependence of P(t 1,t 2) on the filters' parameters clearly demonstrates the complementarity principle for the photon's energy and time localization. According to the Copenhagen interpretation the broadband two-photon field a priori does not possess a definite time structure.
