ResumoThe oscillatory behavior of cumulant moments obtained from the experimental data in $\mathrm{pp}$ collisions and $\overline{p}p$ collisions is analyzed by the modified negative binomial distribution (MNBD) and the negative binomial distribution (NBD). Both distributions describe well the cumulant moments obtained from the data. This fact shows a sharp contrast to the result in ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collisions, which is described by the MNBD much better than by the NBD.
