ResumoThe model of human hypersensitivity using nonhuman primates passively sensitized by human allergic sera was investigated to evaluate certain physiologic, electrocardiographic, routine light and electron microscopic changes, and immunologic alterations. Varying types of conduction defects and ischemic electrocardiographic patterns occurred during anaphylaxis following a fall in systemic pressure and an occasional marked increase in pulmonary artery pressure. A series of immunologic studies demonstrated reactions which detected the presence of human antibody in the sensitized recipients.
