Resumo

Key Points Neutrophils differentiate into neutrophil–dendritic cell hybrids upon recruitment to sites of inflammation or infection. Hybrids play dual protective roles against bacterial infection by rapidly clearing bacteria and presenting bacterial antigens to T cells.
