This article intende to analyse the importance of the "moda de viola" in the social-political-cultural context of the country without considering it as cultural subproduct because of its dissociation from the formal patterns of the Portuguese language. In this manner to express itself utilizing unconvencional linguistics ways also plays a specific role in the process of mass communication as it does, presently, the country music.
