ResumoThe standard molar enthalpies of formation ΔfHmo of several ternary oxides of quadrivalent lanthanide or actinide with alkaline earths have been determined at 298.15 K and po = 101.325 kPa. The results for ΔfHmo/(kJ·mol−1) are as follows: BaCeO3, −(1686.5 ± 3.9); SrCeO3, −(1685.6±3.8); BaTbO3, −(1609.0±2.7); SrTbO3, −(1612.9±2.1); BaAmO3, −(1544.6±3.4); and SrAmO3, −(1539.0±4.1). The stabilities of these complex oxides with respect to their parent binary oxides are discussed.
