ResumoDactinomycin at concentrations of 10, 20, 25, and 50 mug/ml causes mitotic abnormalities in sea urchin embryos. Sister chromosome separation is impaired and anaphase bridges are frequently formed. The result is an unequal distribution of the chromosome complement to daughter cells. Possible explanations are discussed.
