ResumoNuclear hyperfine structure has been resolved in electronic spectra of NH+, PH+, and SH+, using a laser-ion beam technique. The transitions are detected indirectly by monitoring the production of fragment ions N+, P+, or S+ which arise from predissociation of the excited electronic state. (AIP)
