ResumoThe decay 88Rb → 88Sr has been re-investigated. By use of a Ge(Li) detector, the accuracy in determining the energy and intensity of gamma rays was improved, and two new transitions of 1781±4 and 4740±4 keV were found. Measurements of gamma-gamma directional correlation with a 7.6 cm × 7.6 cm + 5.1 cm × 5.1 cm NaI spectrometer led to spin assignments of 2− and (3)− for the 4515 and 4850 keV levels, respectively. A revised decay scheme is presented.
