Resumo

The development of left posterior hemiblock (LPH) is demonstrated by electrocardiographic and vectorcardiographic means in three patients. The association of LPH and inferior wall myocardial infarction is discussed. The mechanism, differential diagnosis and clinical significance of isolated LPH are also considered.
