ResumoAbstract The self‐diffusion coefficients of components in methanol‐water‐NaI system at 298.2 K have been investigated using open‐end capillary method. The influence of NaI concentration on methanol and water self‐diffusion coefficients has been studied. The dependences of self‐diffusion coefficients of sodium and iodide ions on NaI concentration have been determined. In methanol‐water‐NaI system the methanol self‐diffusion coefficient is greater than in pure methanol‐water mixture. The water self‐diffusion coefficient in the presence of NaI does not exhibit the minimum and in methanol rich mixtures is equal to the self‐diffusion coefficient of sodium ion.
