ResumoThe development of the subject aims to provide an overview about the current laws and doctrinal insight and analysis of studies conducted regarding the Brazilian mining on their borders and barriers. Specifically, the work will trace doctrinal and legal lines. As for the laws, demonstrate that the current legislation is outdated and obsolete in the face of economic globalization and the challenges that must be faced in the future. Existing mineral deposits in the border ranges are strategic assets of National Security. The work aims to show that Brazil needs to adapt and rethink their policies for sustainable development within their borders, because of the world shortage of power. The stimulus and encouragement for the betterment of our Defense Industrial Base (IDB) will provide the country the surveillance of our territory, the expansion of living frontiers and sustainable development of the environment through modern laws and public policy
