Corporate governance versus corporate governance: an international review: uma análise comparativa da produção acadêmica do tema governança corporativa

Resumo

This paper analyzed comparatively academic production on the Corporate Governance topic under the point of view of the following journals: Corporate Governance and Corporate Governance: An International Review, during the period from 2001 to 2012. It was methodologically conducted a bibliometric study with social network analysis, in a universe of 1,008 items. The results show that there is a central network of authors, IESs and countries. Kakabadse, N., was the most fruitful author; Cranfield University, was the most published IES; England, the most productive country. Most popular topics in the articles were: Board of Directors, Corporate Social Responsibility and Ownership Structure.
