ResumoThe analyte-induced formation of exciton trapping leads to the decrease of cathode photocurrent of mercapto-capped CdTe quantum dots (QDs), which produces a sensitive cathode photoelectrochemical method for selective sensing of trace Cu2+ as the analyte with a linear range from 0.06 to 100 μM.
