Crystallization and Solubility Studies

The solubilities of solid n-octacosane (n-C28H58), n-triacontane (n-C30H62) and n-dotriacontane (n-C32H66) in supercritical ethane at temperatures between 308.15 K and 319.15 K and pressures up to 20 MPa are reported here. The results have been correlated using an equation of state. A new correlation based on the solute reduced density at the triple point is also reported for this homologous series.
