Abstract Die Umsetzung von 2‐Methyl‐thiocarbohydrazid und S ‐Methyl‐isothiocarbohydrazid mit aliphatischen Carbonsäuren führt zu 1‐Methyl‐4‐amino‐5‐thion‐1.2.4‐triazolinen bzw. 4‐Amino‐5‐methylmercapto‐1.2.4‐triazolen, die durch salpetrige Säure zu 1‐Methyl‐5‐thion‐1.2.4‐triazolinen bzw. 5‐Methylmercapto‐1.2.4‐triazolen desaminiert werden. Die 4‐Amino‐5‐methylmercapto‐1.2.4‐triazole sind auch durch Methylierung der 4‐Amino‐5‐mercapto‐1.2.4‐triazole mit Methyljodid zugänglich.
