Substituent Effects in 13 C‐N.M.R. Spectra of Diasteroemeric Chalcone Dihalogenides. I. Investigations of Diastereomeric Chalcone Dibromides and Bromochlorides Adducts Fourier‐transform 13 C‐n.m.r. spectra of two series of chalcone dihalogenides 1 und 2 including some pairs of diastereomeres are reported. All of the carbon resonances are assigned. Substituent effects on the chemical shifts of carbonyl‐, α‐ and β‐C‐atoms in dependence on the position of the substituent in ring A or B in both of systems are discussed. The dependence of chemical shifts on the erythro or threo configuration is studied.
