Resumo

Three new species of South American plated catfishes of the genus Corydoras Lacepede, 1803 are described and figured: Corydoras condiscipulus n. sp. from Fleuve Oyapock, border river between French Guiana and Brazil (= Rio Oiapoque), C. narcissus n. sp., and C. robustus n. sp., both from a tributary creek of the Rio Ipixuna, Rio Purus system, Est. Amazonas, Brazil. The occurrence of C. oiapoquensis Nijssen, 1972, C. amapaensis Nijssen, 1972, and C. condiscipulus in French Guiana and Brazil is recorded.
