ResumoElectrospray mass spectrometric, proton NMR, UV-titrametric, electrochemical and X-ray crystallographic studies have shown that, in the presence of cobalt(II), 2,3-bis(2,2′-bipyrid-6-yl)pyrazine self-assembles to form a dimeric metallocyclophane which is also stable in solution.
