ResumoIt was built to handle in the future, a passenger traffic five times greater than the present figure, estimated to be 250,000 persons per year, in this American city. Built on three basic levels, its design favours rapid and economic construction, giving it a high degree of functionality. Modular concrete elements were used for the structure and are repeated throughout the building, thus allowing for mass construction. The interior organization is very cozy and comfortable in that which refers to traffic as well as general operation. With reference to the latter, the drafting department, which worked with the architects, designed a complete interior sign system. From the outside, the building has a pleasant movement, as a result of the architectonic concept, underlined by the warm tones used for the cement panel surfacing.
