ResumoAssuming that a scattering amplitude, given as a function of the energy and the directions of the incident and scattered particles, is associated with a local potential without spherical symmetry via the Schrödinger equation in three space dimensions, this potential is uniquely reconstructed by two methods. One is based on a generalization of the Marchenko equation; the other, on a generalization of the Gel’fand–Levitan equation.
