The central As6 ring is a regular hexagon with bond lengths between those of As-As single and double bonds. The 1H NMR signals of the cyclopentadienyl Me groups are found at δ ≈ 0; this can be regarded as evidence of a ring-current effect of hexaarsabenzene.
