ResumoIn patients at 6 to 12 days after uncomplicated myocardial infarction, we observed a low incidence of serotonin-induced occlusive coronary artery spasm (11%) in the IRAs, and no spasm in the non-IRAs, but a significantly greater coronary vasoconstrictor response in the distal segment of the IRA than that observed in the non-IRA.
