ResumoUsing a 40 cm curved muscovite mica crystal spectrograph of the transmission (Cauchois) type, six new long-energy satellites have been observed at wavelengths of 1630.8, 1632.2, 1629.2, 1650.0, 1636.1, and 1647.8 xu in the Kbeta emission spectrum of cobalt. The first two of these have been assigned to the radiative Auger transitions K to M2,32. The next two have been assigned respectively to the transitions K to M1M4,5 and K to M12. The last two satellites could not be assigned to any such transitions Furthermore, the present investigation has confirmed the presence of the satellites beta eta and beta l at 1640.5 and 1643.3 xu respectively. These were reported earlier by Sawada, Tsutsumi, Shiraiwa and Obashi (1955) and have been assigned to the transitions K to M1M2,3 for the first time.
