The recommendations are the product of an informal meeting convened in Geneva in June 1970, by Dr. Z. Fejfar, Chief of the WHO Section on Cardiovascular Diseases. The other participants included Drs. J. L. Beaumont from Paris, L. A. Carlson from Uppsala, G. R. Cooper from Atlanta, T. Strasser from Geneva, and myself.Although the weather in Geneva tends to be oppressive in early summer, the climate of the meeting was most...References1.
