ResumosRNA isolated from polyphenylalanyl sRNA does not accept phenylalanine. The isolation procedure is mild enough to recover most of the usual sRNA. This observation suggests two possibilities: 1) sRNA becomes more labile when linked to polyphenylalanine or 2) sRNA in polyphenylalanyl sRNA is different from the usual sRNA which accepts amino acids.
