Resumo

PCBs, Lindane, Pb, Zn and Cr were analysed at the outfall of a catchment served by a separate sewer system. Mean concentrations in the stormwater runoff were respectively 130 ng.1−1, 75 ng.1−1, 140 μg.1−1, 730 μg.1−1, 15 μg.1−1. The importance of atmospheric input is discussed, as well as the relative importance of runoff pollution as regards wastewater.
