ResumoAbstract The time-development functions of nuclear reactions which can be measured by crystal blocking experiments are calculated in a realistic case of proton inelastic scattering near isobaric analogue resonances, using a recently developed statistical theory of nuclear reactions. The changes of the time-development functions on and off resonances are found to be appreciable enough to be detected by experiments. It is also pointed out that this type of investigation gives a new test of the statistical theory.
