ResumoOn the island of knights and knaves — a riddle genre presented and developed by the logician and riddle-master Raymond Smullyan (1978) — each of the inhabitants is either a knave, who tells nothing but lies, or a knight, who only tells the truth. The readers of Smullyan’s book are invited to have a stroll over the island, throughout which they keep meeting the island’s inhabitants, witnessing their conversations, and overhearing the assertions they make.
