Abstract The isomerization of s ‐triazolo[4,3‐ a ]pyridines into s ‐triazolo[1,5‐ a ]pyridines is greatly facilitated by electron withdrawing nitro substituents in the pyridine ring and retarded by electron donating amino groups.
