McCarron Departments of Medicine (Clinical Pharmacology) and Emergency Medicine, LAC/USC Medical Center, 1200 North State St., Room 1102, Los Angeles, California 90033 Dr. McCarron is Associate Professor of Medicine (Clinical Pharmacology) and Emergency Medicine at the University of Southern California School of Medicine and Associate Medical Director of the Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center. Her activities in the field of toxicology include direct patient care as Director of the Prison Service of the Department of Emergency Medicine, consultation and teaching of toxicology at the LAC/USC Medical Center, supervision of the hospital's Drug Information Center, and Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee of the Los Angeles County Medical Association Regional Poison Control Center. She has been treating patients with drug overdosage, poisoning with non-drug products, and complications of drug abuse for the past twenty years.
