ResumoThis paper presents the evolution of techniques for simulating correlated wind speeds, over the last decade. The work stems from the problem of obtaining a value that can be defined as the simultaneousness of the production of wind power in electrical networks containing many wind parks. As will be seen, we have steadily extended the research towards the analysis of the correlation of wind speed series at several locations, which is important for assessing the probability of a given wind power being injected in the electrical network.
