ResumoThe diagnosis and treatment of a nasolabial cyst in a 53-year-old woman are described; the origin of the cyst is discussed. A 53-year-old woman noticed elevation of the right ala of the nose and a fullness of the upper lip on the right side. A presumptive diagnosis of nasolabial cyst was made in the absence of evidence of dental disease or of significant bone resorption. After aspiration of fluid, the cyst was removed surgically. Healing has been complete and without complication. A discussion of the high incidence of the condition in women and of the origin of the cyst is included.
