A solution is derived of the equations of equilibrium appropriate to the application of pressure to the faces of a plane crack covering the outside of a circle in an infinite elastic body. The solution corresponding to axisymmetric loading of the crack is deduced and the results illustrated by the consideration of some particular cases. L'auteur donne une solution des équations d'équilibre résultant de l'application d'une pression sur les faces d'une fissure plane se trouvant sur un cercle à l'extérieur d'un solide infini. Il en déduit la solution correspondant à la fissure chargée symétriquement par rapport à un axe et il présente des exemples basés sur quelques cas particuliers. Hier wird eine Lösung der Gleichgewichtsgleichungen abgeleitet, welche einer Situation entsprechen, in der die Flächen eines ebenen Risses unter Druck stehen. Der Riss bedeckt die Aussenseite eines Kreises in einem unbegrenzten, elastischen Körper. Die der axialsymmetrischen Beanspruchung des Risses entsprechende Lösung wird abgeleitet, und die Ergebnisse werden durch die Behandlung einiger Spezialfälle erläutert. Si dériva una soluzione delle equazioni d'equilibrio appropriata all'applicazione di pressione alla superficie di un'incrinatura planare sull'esterno di un cerchio in un corpo elastico infinito. La soluzione corrispondente al carico assisimmetrico dell'incrinatura viene dedotta e i risultati sono illustrati considetando qualche caso particolare.
