Crystallization in P2 1 3, with a=8.853 A, R=0.0197. Discrete Tl + cations are well separated by [Fe(CO) 3 (NO)] - anions in a distorted NaCl-like structure; nitrosyl and carbonyl groups in the approximately tetrahedral anion are all essentially linear.
