ResumoThe notch tensile strength of quenched and tempered AISI 4135 steel after hydrogen charging decreases with decreasing crosshead speed. Numerical simulation results show that the accumulated hydrogen concentration in the vicinity of the notch root increases with decreasing crosshead speed, resulting in the decrease in the notch tensile strength.
