Resumo

Treatment of [M2Cl2(μ-Cl)2(PR3)2] M/PRPt/PEt3, Pt/PBu3, Pt/PMe2Ph, Pt/PMePh2, Pd/PMe2Ph) with AgO2PPh2 at room temperature, gave diphenylphosphinato-bridged binuclear complexes [M2Cl2(μ-O2PPh2)2(PR3)2]. These complexes were characterized by NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Crystal and molecular structure of [Pt2Cl2(μ-O2PPh2)2(PMe2Ph)2] has been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The eight-membered metallocyclic ring “Pt2(O2P)2” has a boat conformation with Pt ⋯ Pt separation of 3.2212(6) Å.
