ResumoA com parative analysis of th e structure of N eu ro p tero id ea com m u n ities of tree canopies in linden-oak-hornbeam forests, light oak forests, m ixed coniferous forests and pine forests A bstract.The following p ap er is based on stu d ie s carried o u t from 1976 to 1987 on Neuropteroidea of tree canopies in 4 types of fo rest ch ara c te ristic o f low land a n d u p la n d a re a s in Poland: th e su b co n tin en tal variety of th e lin d en -o ak -h o m b eam forest (Tilio-Carpinetum), light oak forest (Potentillo albae-Quercetum), mixed coniferous forest (Querco roboris -Pine turn) a n d p ine forest (Peucedano-Pinetum an d Leucobryo-Pinetnnx th e Dicranio-Pinion alliance).The following p a ram eters were analysed an d com pared: species com position, ab u n d a n ce , s tru c tu re a s well as ecological a n d zoogeographical diversification of th e n e u ro p te ra n co m m unities.M aterials, totalling 10,280 im agines of 45 species of n e u ro p te ra n s, w ere collected in m a tu re sta n d s from various tree species: oaks, lindens, hornb eam s, elm s, pin es a n d larches.
