ResumoTen rheumatoid patients (11 ankles) with total loss of joint space and with a functional ankle position were treated with percutaneous arthrodesis without débridement of the joint. The clinical results were excellent. The Mazir ankle score was low and seems unsuitable for the evaluation of rheumatoid patients.
