Resumo

Deuterium spin-lattice relaxation time (T1) of perdeuterobenzene and perdeuteronaphthalene dissolved in aqueous solutions of sodium deoxycholate and sodium cholate was studied. By comparing the experimental data and theoretical calculations, it was concluded that benzene and naphthalene are not held stationary in the bile acid micelles, and their molecular planes have certain librational motion. In addition, benzene undergoes rapid rotation about the C6 axis, but naphthalene does not rotate in its molecular plane.
