ResumoAbsstract: Hegel stops dividing his philosophy of history in four stages to do that in three in Die Vernunft in der Geschichte. This fact, supposedly minor, seems to answer to a profound evolution in his thought. Both the effort to make a fully speculative -and according to his system -interpretation of history and the relativization of his juvenile Greek ideal, and also the gradual identification with Christianity are reflected in this change; as well as the load -correlative -of seeing the realization of the reconciliation principle no longer in the French Revolution, but in the Protestant Reformation.
