Abstract The Raman spectra of liquid cyclopropyl cyanide (range 50–4000 cm −1 ) are reported and found considerably different from those published by Daly and Wiberley. 1 A new assignment is given based on the study of both Raman and IR spectra (liquid and gas) and on a model NC treatment permitting to correlate them with the spectra of cyclopropane and acetonitrile.
