Resumo

The N and P2O5 effects on the variety bean BRS MG Talismã were studied in four field experiments in Lavras, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The experimental design utilized was randomized blocks with three repetitions, in a 4x4 factorial arrangement involving the P levels (0, 100, 200 and 300 kg ha-1 of P2O5, triple superphosphate source) and the N levels (0, 70, 140 and 210 kg ha-1 of N, urea source). The initial and final stands of the plants, the productivity of grain and the efficiency of utilization of N and of P2O5 were evaluated. The N and potassium associated resulted in small bean plant populations, and the P lessened that effect. The productivity responded to N and P2O5 increase, which varied according to the seasons. The maxim efficiency was obtained with N and P2O5 doses higher to those recommend for bean crop in Minas Gerais.
