“GALÁXIAS”: O PASSADO SOB O OLHAR DO PRESENTE

A partir do poema “Galaxias”, publicado em 1984, vemos que o trabalho literario de Haroldo de Campos esta em sintonia com o seu projeto de traducao poetica, no sentido em que ambos revelam um grande interesse do autor pelo plurilinguismo, a mesticagem e o dia-logo entre linguas e culturas. Em “Galaxias” esse trabalho se concretiza por meio de uma lei-tura da tradicao marcada pelo jogo entre o antigo e o novo, a memoria e a criacao, e pela in-tertextualidade e o dialogo do poeta paulista com outros autores. Esta pesquisa tem como ob-jetivo mostrar como a discussao sobre tradicao e tratada por Haroldo de Campos e o valor que ela possui na compreensao de sua obra. “GALAXIAS”: THE PAST UNDER THE LOOK OF THE PRESENT The poem “Galaxies”, released in 1984, shows that the literary work of Harol-do de Campos is equivalent to the process of poetic translation, in the sense that both reveal a great interest in plurilingualism, miscegenation and dialogue between cultures and languages. In “Galaxies”, this work is realized through an act of reading turned back to tradition and marked by the interplay between old and new, memory and creation and intertextuality and dialogue with other authors. This research aims to show how the discussion about tradition is treated by Haroldo de Campos and the value it has to understand his work.
