ResumoThe term ‘intellectual property’ tends to warp thinking wherever it is used. It carries a bias in favor of dealing with a variety of issues as kinds of ‘property’; even worse, applying the term to various disparate issues focuses attention erroneously on the little that they have in common. The term should never be used, and we should not let others lead us into using it.
