ResumoBone-specific Greulich-Pyle and Tanner-Whitehouse assessments of skeletal age were made of 2,009 roentgenograms of 62 boys and 82 girls studied semilongitudinally from two to fourteen years. The median G-P 1 skeletal ages were similar to the chronologic ages as were the median G-P 2 skeletal ages. The median Tanner-Whitehouse skeletal ages were markedly greater than the corresponding chronological ages especially from six to nine years in the boys and from four to eight years in the girls.
