FROM CHAPADA DIA• MANTINA, BAHIA, BRAZIL (ODONATA, CALOPTERYGIDAE).Mnesarele mariana sp.n. is described based on three male specimens collected at Chapada Diamantina, in the Bahia State, Brazil.The new species is close to M. gullifera (Selys, 1873) but differs from it maioly by structure of the inferior anal appendages and by the presence of a tuft ofhairs 00 each side ofthe hind pari ofthe anterior lamina adjacent to the anterior hamuli.The appendages of M. gullifera are now illuslraled for the first time.
