ResumoThe authors describe the hardware and software used to telephone voters en masse prior to an election in support of a candidate. They use Dialogic 41 DSP-based voice boards on an Intel 80286 platform. Software was written in U.S. Telecom's VAL (voice application language). Dialogic's VFEdit was used as a phrase editor, allowing messages to be recorded and played over the telephone. The results of this electioneering endeavor are discussed in the second half of the article.
