Following examination of the Braconinae collections in the Museum für Naturkunde, Berlin and the Institut für Pflanzenschutzforschung, Eberswalde, the type specimen of a total of 29 species have been rediscovered. Thirty new combinations are reported and the systematic positions of a further 25 species have been confirmed. Lectotypes designations are made for 20 species. One new generic synonym is reported: Ateleodoryctes Cameron, 1910 is a junior synonym of Cratobracon Cameron, 1901. Three new specific synonyms are indicated: Ipobracon tessmanni Szepligeti, 1914 (= Monilobracon specious Quicke, 1984); Ipobracon erlangeri Szepligeti, 1914 (= Ipobracon setosus Szepligeti, 1914); Ipobracon maximus Szepligeti, 1914 (= Iphiaulax elegantus Szepligeti, 1914).
