TV digital interativa na prática: a experiência do stickercenter

ResumoThe arrival of digital TV in Brazil and the development of middleware Ginga by brazilian researchers created a great expectation that the TV would be transformed into an interactive media.With this background, experiences are tested in the context of television, as the StickerCenter, a software developed by TOTVS that uses Ginga in its structure and combines elements of internet on TV.Attempted to answer the questions of how this product works and how it explores the exchange of information with the public, this article presents the specificities of the StickerCenter, the reasons why it is not popular in Brazil and also discusses the challenges of middleware Ginga in the competition with connected TVs.
